Nicole Elizabeth Eggert es Summer Quinn, la chica de diecìseis años que, junto con su madre, se  trasladó de Pittsburg -ciudad triste e industrial- a California, instalándose en plena playa de Malibú.

En la vida real, Nicole es una Capricornio de 21 años, nacida en Glendale, California. Tiene una hermana menor, April, de 13 años, le gusta la música de Jimi Hendrix y Pearl Jam, la comida italiana, Kevin Costner, y... dicen que le han visto últimamente con Marky Mark.
